Mr. M.K. Ostwal stands as the driving force behind the Ostwal Group of Industries (OGI), a prominent entity in the Indian fertilizer sector. His entrepreneurial journey began in 2002 with the strategic acquisition of a struggling SSP (Single Super Phosphate) production unit. Demonstrating astute business acumen, Mr. Ostwal further expanded OGI's footprint through the acquisition of three additional underperforming units. This proactive approach has transformed OGI into a vertically integrated conglomerate boasting substantial production capacities across the fertilizer value chain, including SSP/GSSP, DAP/NPK (Di-Ammonium Phosphate/Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium), Sulphuric Acid, Phosphoric Acid, and BRP (Beneficiated Rock Phosphate). While the group also produces some specialty chemicals, its primary focus remains on serving the agricultural community with its “Annadata” “Shri Ganpati”, and "Bharat" brand fertilizers.
